The little black, orphaned colt, since then been named Eric, after his facial marking, still remains broody. Antrium decided to see how he would react to their resident joy-in-a-bottle, Fox, and the white colt instantly went about trying to make a new friend. Fox had never yet failed to bring out the best in everyone but it seemed that his streak would be broken; Eric showed no response to the older boy’s antics. Fox, not one to let his companions mood sour his, eventually left Eric on his own to entertain himself.
