Running through the snow is bad enough, running through a snowstorm really took the cake, but apparitions in the blizzard? Fox enjoyed the chance to see his mother but her company really wasn’t worth this damn track, he seemed to have the most terrible luck here. It became even worse when he realised that the ‘apparitions’ were completely real. First a rabbit merrily saunters under their legs in the Quality in Colour race and now not one but two wolves were running along the side?! No wonder his mother was so good on other tracks - they were all bloody pansys in comparison! 

The wolves seemed perfectly used to quealing horses and didnt faulted at all, it seemed that their care cups were completely empty, they just went about their business not caring if they left Fox and quivering mess. Amalie, though just as startled, managed to get him back in the game and considered it a victory that he finished at all.
