Bath Time

Abyaz was led in for his bath and was mildly surprised to see Ghost already there. He greeted the cheerful mare as she did him - though not as overly excited as she. Ghost commented on the peculiarly of the bath, as the weather was not to be pleasant, rather dull and overcast. Abyaz enjoyed the baths however and made no protest to it. He listened calmly to Ghost chatting on and on about whatever subject fascinated her most, enjoying the sound of his friends happy voice. 

"... and there you have it! You really had to have been there to get the whole story, I just briefed it. So, what have you been up to? Any big races coming up?" Ghost asked. 

Abyaz and Ghost may have both been race horses, but the specialised in two different fields: Abyaz in G1J and Ghost in HARPG. The only time the pair crossed paths professionally was when either had the spare time to enter the others world. 

"I do, yes. I have a international derby against my rival, Eclipse." Abyaz said, his tone dark and gruff. Eclipse was not a stallion he enjoyed taking about. His change in tone was so stark and unexpected that even Ghost felt intimidated enough to tread lightly around the subject. 

"Oh, well, I hope you win. How's Juls and Juliet?" She asked, changing the subject as easily as eating a carrot. 

Abyaz was much brighter with this subject. "There're both great! They'd love to meet you sometime." 

Both contiued in idle and friendly chatter before parting ways and being led off to prepare for the race.
