What do you think of OnlyFans and perspectives of this game? I personally don't see anything positively beneficial about this app and its content other than it's good for making money through paywall-locked content with a chance of a tragedy of becoming a lost media, with a very slim chance of financial success. So, I have a simple existential question: is it really worth it? I don't think so.
I don't know much about OnlyFans as I have never used it. I do use Patreon , DeviantArt here, and SubscribeStar and they are essential for me to make money on my art.
It's how I can make original characters and build a world around my art!
I could never do that with commissions and I could not do that at a regular job where adult work is not viable and I cannot stream and make ad revenue with this content. So I think subscription services for independent creators is very important.
I do see the concern about lost media. In the future there could be a lot of art that's not saved or available. But for now, people need to make money to make that art to begin with, so getting rid of services people get paid on may mean less lost media, but it would also mean less media made to begin with.
