I have always absolutely loved this part of the Forth book. Might even be my favourite bit. The Goblet of Fire used to be my favourite book, I haven't read it for ages because one, the binding is falling off/fallen off, and two, the film kind of ruined it for me...

Regardless, this is the scene at the end in the hospital wing when Molly Weasley hugs Harry in a way he's never been hugged before. As if by a mother. Honestly, tears welling, so brilliant.

Now, I am going to edit and colour this because I haven't finished drawing it but I have a little problem. I haven't got the forth book up here in Newcastle, it's at home in Liverpool a good 300 miles away and so far I've drawn this from memory of what happens in the scene. I would however like to know the actual extract I have taken it from to maybe refine the details a little.
Can anyone maybe tell me it? Would really appreciate it :aww:

"It's not your fault, Harry," Mrs. Weasley whispered.

"I told him to take the cup with me," said Harry.
Now the burning feeling was in his throat too. He wished Ron would look away.
Mrs. Weasley set the potion down on the bedside cabinet, bent down, and put her arms around Harry. He had no memory of ever being hugged like this, as though by a mother. The full weight of everything he had seen that night seemed to fall in upon him as Mrs. Weasley held him to her. His mother's face, his father's voice, the sight of Cedric dead on the ground all started spinning in his head, until he could hardly bare it, until he was screwing up his face against the howl of misery fighting to get out of him.
There was a loud slamming noise and Mrs. Weasley and Harry broke apart.

Thanks to PoireGourmande and SleepyShipper for telling me the quote!!

I always hated it. And I got confirmation as to why in Deathly Hallows. Poor Ron.

Yeah I know, I re read the goblet of fire and I didn't remember this part but when I read it I though why haven't I remebered it before, it was short but special moment when Harry really felt how it was to have mother feeling in his life. I almost angry at Hermione for interupting :P

"What do we want to be prefects for?... It'd take all the fun out of life." George Weasley

One of my favorites scenes out of all seven books... Harry goes through a lot and doesn't get too many motherly hugs.
Great drawing. Love Mrs. Weasley.

I remember rereading this scene (I didn't quite catch it the first time) and being moved by it. I was dissapointed the movie had changed it. I remember Harry not crying until he's finally in Ms. Weasley's arms and then just cracking at that moment. This gave me such a flashback, its brilliant.
