In memory of Sierra and Rowan

😅 So, since last year I've been hooked on the game Wolf Quest. For any who don't know of it; it's a wolf survival game, where you have to survive the Yellowstone wilderness as a wolf with the focus on realism. It's not the most graphical groundbreaking game, but I've been surprised by the abilities of the gameplay and the incredible behaviour of the AI! I recommend it to anyone who likes animal survival games! 🐺

After getting the hang of the game with a short play-through, I started a new file, with the plans of recording everything that happened to my pack like I'm a little researcher, heheh. My autistic ass has been having far too much fun with this. And the Word document I've made on these wolves has been growing steadily! I'm already 3 generations in and going strong!

I started with Rowan on the map Slough Creek. He ended up mating with Sierra and together the pair took over a quarter of the map, living for 6 in-game years and both reaching the age of 8. They had a total of 15 pups and killed 69 (nice) rival wolves. (I made them to be quite vicious but not unfair).

Ngl, I did get a little teary-eyed when Rowan passed.😭 I played with him what felt like ages, so it was sad to see him go. Sierra followed after him two in-game days later💔 They were succeeded by their son Hazel, who was the only grey pup they had.

I'm currently playing as Rowan and Sierra's grandson, and would like to keep the tradition going. I don't know if anyone is going to read all this, but if anyone is interested; I'm making the entire wolf family tree from the Plateau pack, so if you'd like I can post that too c:

Also, I think this is about the first time I've drawn wolves, and I don't think I did too poorly, for free handing them. Especially since I'm usually a horse artist 🤣
