Blue lake 3

This amazingly clear lake was called Lake McKenzie and is the most famous lake on fraser. It was stunning with such crystal clear waters that you could literally see right through it down to the bottom. There were 2 clear lakes and one murky one that we hiked around. The clear ones were clear because the sand filter the rainwater until no nutrients are left in it. So yes it looks gorgeous, but it lacks so much nutrients it cant support life. So these clear lakes were actually...dead.
