Description
Since I often get asked what brushes I use for a lot of my sketches and studies I figured I'd put together a lil list for some of you!
Paint & Crayon: Quite literally my two go two brushes for almost everything I do, paint I use mostly for sketching I normally use a very small brush size because I like the scratchy look it has. Crayon I also use for sketching but I also use it in paintings and detailing of things. Both are my favorites of the bunch c:
Pencil & Bomb: Pencil is my go to lineart brush, most of my older commission work was using this brush. I tend to not use it often anymore as I like texture more then smoothness. Bomb on the other hand is my new favorite textured lineart brush, it works better with a bigger brush size and with more bolder lines. I honestly love using this brush for lining and sketching though!
Dryy & Chalkdirt: Mostly texture brushes I use for detailing and rough coloring for things. Dryy is a fun sketching brush, but I tend to use it for stripes and speckles since I like the texture it gives. Chalkdirt is one I use often in landscape studies!
Paint4 & Fltroc: Mostly use these in landscape studies and overall texture work! They work better in bigger brush sizes.
