Hello! I am a psychology undergrad student who loves photography. I especially enjoy landscape, waterscape (mainly mountains and lakes), wildlife, steam locomotive, and moon photography. I am an introverted person who really enjoys photography, reading, listening to rock/heavy metal music, writing short stories, playing video games, hiking, learning about psychology and astronomy/stargazing.

March of the Fifty

It has been an emotional, albeit wonderful, day today. My hometown of Coalville re-enacted the March of the Fifty, where 50 volunteers marched through the town centre and were the first British people to volunteer for World War 1. They are called the Famous Fifty. It was like actually being there in 1914 - we all dressed up (I was a soldier's wife :D) and marched behind them. I desperately wanted to get some photos and had agreed to be one of the volunteer photographers, but sadly, my camera died last night! That being said, it was a great event. Going away

Going away

Just a heads up. Going away to Poland tomorrow for a week. My father is getting married this week, so I am visiting him and my two younger sisters. Very nervous as it'll be the first time travelling on my own. I am absolutely petrified of flying, to say the least. It's gotten to the point where I am viewing today as my last day on Earth :D We'll also be visiting the salt mines (Wieliczka Salt Mine) and Auschwitz camp. It'll be an experience. I am going to take my camera with me (with some apprehension, might I add - I treat it like it was my own child, lol), so I'll be uploading any decent photos of those places here.
