Got my new lens from the US today, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM!
Haven't tried it yet, going to work in 10 min. But it looks amazing :P
UV,CPL and FLD filters also got here today, perfect.
Looking forward to try this masterpiece!
Just got back from a very irritating evening.
The weather has been very weird today, lots of rain when the sun was shining etc etc.
So I figured there would be a great sunset with a lot of color and cool clouds.
And guess what, I was right. The sky was all purple/blue/pink and the clouds got awesome highlights in these colors. Looked absolutely super to the dark backround.
Now to the irritating thing, and probably a very important lesson.
I took the car out to a great spot, and set up the tripod and everything was great.
Still quite early so the colors hadn't appeared yet.
Then all of a sudden, I got this stupid idea, "I bet I get bet
I'm back home, one day earlier than expected.
It has been a great vacation, but unfortunatly it wasn't a great photo trip.
I arrived at my sisters apartment in Malmö, Sweden on Sunday evening, my motorbike as the vehicle of choice, of course. Had a great evening with the family and was very excited about the trip to Denmark the next morning.
But when we woke up on Monday morning, guess what? Rain, rain and rain. NOT very nice.
Anyway, we took the car to Copenhagen, continued on the freeway to Gilleleje, it was still raining and above us there was a thick overcast with no signs of the sun whatsoever. Everything was dull an
I'm heading to Gilleleje, Denmark on Sunday for a short vacation with my family.
I'm hoping for a good time with a lot of photographing!
Unfortunatly, we are going back to Copenhagen a couple of hours before the sun set,
so I'll probably miss out on that.
But I'm sure it will be enough to shoot anyway.

A few of my favorites. They sure act like true sources of inspiration!

Take care people
I'm an amateur photographer with the intention to climb the skill ladder quite a bit in the near future. I got my first "real" camera yesterday: Canon EOS 450D. Before this I've only used compact cameras. So this new darling made me extremely happy.
I like to experiment a lot, with camera settings, objects, positions, views etc etc. I hope you guys will like my pictures!
And hopefully, you'll see a gradual improvement over time.
I salute you all
