In the Regular Show verse, Miranda is a neighbor and classmate of Taralyne the gumball machine girl. She is a young, anthropomorphic, gray vending machine at 5’10”, with long, brown hair usually tied in a loose bun; a small light gray nose; and thin, light gray limbs. With a short-sleeved, turquoise-blue middy blouse having a pale grayish-blue tie and a matching pleated skirt, Miranda’s regular outfit resembles a sailor-style uniform. She wears a dark, faded purple tank top and shorts under her blouse and skirt, respectively, and white slip-ons.
Being a vending machine, this high school freshman carries more weight and has more trouble walking than most of her slender peers, to her classmates’ amusement. Miranda generally means well, but is so desperate for positive attention that she doesn’t hesitate to do risky dares. She likes to experiment with trendy and/or revealing clothes, even though she feels most comfortable in her sailor-style outfit. Miranda wishes to be popular, but out of all her schoolmates, Taralyne is the closest thing she has to a friend. She frequently vents about her problems to the gumball machine, who tries to have empathy for her, but has trouble understanding her at times.
