Inkscape Phineas

What's this, my first colored digital drawing in ages, and a Phineas and Ferb drawing at that?  Admittedly, I had been taking a break from colored digital art since I get into perfectionist mode when attempting it.  As an Illustrator user, I had struggled with aligning stuff exactly how I wanted them to be aligned and was frustrated that I couldn't display the coordinates of two or more anchor points at the same time.  Illustrator allowed so much precision, but... I think it could use more.  It was only at the end of August that I finally decided to uninstall Illustrator and take a break from it for a while.  The one I had was a crack version on a CD; there's no way I could afford to buy it for now (nor do I want to ask anyone to buy it for me).  When it was first installed on my previous computer, it seemed to work just fine, but I started seeing problems after I reinstalled it on my current computer.  I didn't know what to put in for the serial number, so I picked the trial version.  That by itself wasn't a problem, but when I closed the program, then reopened it, I would often get some sort of error message.  Nothing I tried, so far, seemed to fix the problem. 

On the same day I uninstalled Illustrator, I downloaded Inkscape after seeing it mentioned on an online forum.  It's free and somewhat similar to Illustrator, but the interface is different.  I spent a few days trying to get used to it and figuring out how to do certain things.  I decided to start out with Phineas, yet it still took me a while.  It frustrated me to realize that making swatches in Inkscape is quite different from how I was used to doing it in Illustrator.
