Homemade Ribbon Choker

As my current spiked choker is wearing out, I was hoping to get a fabric choker to help absorb sweat from my neck (and hide marks on my neck). Most fabric chokers that I came across on eBay had those tiny metallic closures that are common on necklaces. I feel like such closures are a bit annoying to deal with, and alas, I couldn't find many chokers that closed with snaps. So, I decided to buy some wide ribbon, snaps, and pliers to make my own ribbon choker. Putting on the snaps was simple, but trying to get them properly lined up was hard. The female halves of the snaps ended up being off by a few millimeters, which is why the ends of the choker don't quite line up, here. After my current spiked choker wears out to the point where I can't fasten it anymore, I plan to replace it with a new spiked choker that fastens with snaps, and perhaps, wear this ribbon choker underneath.
