Raymond couldn't sleep. Tomorrow was a special police briefing. Tomorrow would finally be the day. He cuddled up to his boyfriend, Noah, and kissed him on the nose. Noah smiled and giggled in his sleep. Raymond loved it when he did that. It was so cute.
Raymond got up without waking Noah. Noah whimpered a bit, so he gave him a kiss on the nose again. "I'll be back, baby," he assured him.
Raymond looked in the mirror, practicing how he would ask the question several times. He was so nervous. They'd been dating for months, and he didn't want to screw this up.
He took a deep breath and exhaled. Noah will say yes, he was sure of it.
He went back to bed and cuddled up to Noah again. He smiled and went to sleep. Tomorrow would go well.
