I'm not sure if there was a mistake, but these two go to the same URL.
But no, I'm afraid this piece is not mine. I've actually been frustratingly trying to find the creator, myself, because they used to be on DeviantArt, I even had this piece faved, and now I can't find them anywhere online, and I absolutely love this image. She is freaking adorable.
I did use it as an influence on a design for my own skunk character, which is perhaps why you mistake it for my work. I used it among others because of it's somewhat old-cartoon feel, which is what I'm always going for in my "Kitty's Day Out" artwork.
Thank you for trying, though. If you ever do stumble across the original artist, please let me know.
