Then and now.

In her past, Kayla was a music star in her time, playing a number of shows and even winning a golden record in the process, the one the left is one of her biggest shows in 1984 where the 22 year old woman played in her birthplace at Kansas.

However while her career did last for another 20 years (she started at 20) it came to a sudden and abrupt end when the metal fall board fell on her hands, and while her doctor said she will make a recovery, she knew her career was over and after playing one final show, she announced her retirement so the 42 year old woman could spend time with her adopted daughter, though by then she’d lose custody of her thus sending her daughter back to abusive birth parents.

Now she’s currently living in a small cheap apartment building, when she moved she used the 250,000$ out of her late father’s 500,000$ last will to renovate it to make it more comfortable, (the other half is used for rent)the now 62 year old woman spends her time in her apartment knitting, practicing yoga, and (as shown on the right) listening to both her’s, and other classic artists music to help her sleep due to her upstairs neighbors.
