Being a Writer

I'm not yet. But I'm so close to being. I'm starting to think I should do professional things - a decent email address, a website, and some simple little cards with my details on for when I meet people at conventions etc. Anyone more experienced in this than me have any advice to offer on any of these things?In other news it's MCM London next weekend - I can carefully trying to contain my excitment right now...
