OK, so I lied.. It's really a big link all spelled out there. We had a comic book signing at the Arts Council that went splendidly.

And here's a link about the Charlotte Literacy Festival from earlier this year.

Even better, it's now on its THIRD printing, AND we're going to talk to some people about getting it into the local school system. It gets better! "Passages" and I will be making our debut entrance to the writer's world. I've been invited to be a Session Speaker at the Carolina Writer's Conference.

I am extremely hyped about this. But anyways, now I feel kind of like a brag, so I'll lay off...It's just so wonderful!
I've been accepted to CCAD! Yay! Pretty soon I'll be sending in my digital portfolio. Also, I'll be applying to some other colleges as well. As much as I'd like to just put all my eggs in one basket, I know the wisdom of having several options. I am also seriously considering Ringling College of Art and Design. Their alumni and work are very impressive.
Now for some waaaay cool thingummys I've discovered in my wanderings:
This short animation called "The Chestnut Tree" www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsS4Tk…
A great new band called A Fine Frenzy. I especially recommend "Rangers," Come On, Come Out," and "You Picked Me."
Musicals! "Guys and Dolls" was awesome!
An older (only by a kid's standard) movie called "The Sting" starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. A wonderful gem. I highly recommend it. Coming from one who lives and breathes movies like an addicting hobby, trust me. You will not be dissapointed.
"The Astonishing X-Men" Two words to describe this comic series. Joss...Whedon. He's the author and he dishes up a healthy serving of plot twists, Wolverine and Beast dialogue, and over-all awesomeness. It's worth the dough.
Well, that about wraps this party up. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!!
Ciao!
Post Scriptum: Well ignore the little words and bask in the emoticons that come from technological misunderstanding of the human intent and the computer's good intentions. Hopefully the links still work.
