Well, I apologize for my absence from dA over the past year.. but in all honesty, it has just lost its magic. Part of the reason why I feel this way is because it doesn't feel like a community to me anymore, it's just one big popularity contest. I used to feel like I was at home when I logged on every day. I just don't feel that anymore. It's bittersweet for me, because if it wasn't for dA, I'm not sure I would be in the same creative place that I am now. dA was the first place that I felt comfortable with expressing my creative side on the internet.
