Description
Still life of a fire extinguisher, done in sgraffito method. If you dunno what that fancy Italian word means, its basically when you paint the image in contrasting colors first then, after drying, paint over it in its true colors while scraping to reveal the underlying contrasting colors in order to give the image some pop.
The entire image was done in oils and pallet knife. It took 4 months to dry because I was dumb and used the paint directly out of tube rather than mixing with medium. It did provide incredibly vibrant colors, however.
