My wife and I took a walk today downtown Stockholm in the beatiful August weather.

Wow. I had to look at this for quite some time to discern if it was real or not! At first, I though that it was a mixture of both photography and some sort of painting, but it is, in fact, all real. It reminds me of something in a storybook, or perhaps an extremely vivid dream. It's is a beautiful shot, regardless. :rose:

I don't know... I've been watching you for ages, you're an awesome artist... but this isn't so great. It doesn't look real! The burning of the areas around the trees is obvious, for one, and all the elements seem pasted together.

HDR is an awesome tool, and your previous indoor HDR's are amazing; but I feel that if you look at a piece and the first thing that comes to mind is "manipulated", then perhaps its gone too far to be called photography (although darkroom would be appropriate, digital or no).

Just IMO.

Hello Anna,

I agree with you that the first impression when you see the picture is "manipulated", but it was also my intention in this case.
I have changed the category to Digital Art > Photomanipulation

Thanks for your frank thoughts!
