Instantly - I would send my spirit owl/squirrel/rabbit/[insert animal here]
Quickly - I have people close who know of and would contact them, or vice versa, they know my friends/family, or I have left details with next of kin.
Now you mention it - a couple of weeks, to a few months, via friends.
