Style Turning Point

As you may remember, the project h worked on before Locals Only was a short-lived and very, very bad comic called Chasing Trains. It’s where I lifted several characters from after I decided to give up on it. At this time, I was looking to change my art style, and so I opted for something more realistic and detailed. This must’ve been my first foray into that, or a very early attempt anyway. I was studying the art styles of Disney, WB, and a couple individual artists I liked to create something with more structure. I think it’s really novel that I have a picture of these characters as they were when Chasing Trains ended, before they were the characters from Locals Only, but with the early art style that Locals Only started with.
