Personality
Ronnie is a greaser, and a member of The Royals. Everybody knows you shouldn't trust Ronnie with anything, especially his own friends. A conniving trickster and habitual liar, the only person who puts complete faith in the mouse is his girlfriend Nancy (who is eleven years his senior). Facing constant doubts to her leadership of The Royals, Ronnie was her perfect yes-man. He is overly confrontational towards most people outside the group, but is even more so towards anyone who talks trash about his girlfriend. Ronnie lacks any pride or morals, and this is his biggest weapon. He isn't above doing even the most depraved things to get the upper hand. He'll backstab anybody if it means getting ahead, and he leaks information even when he doesn't intend to. Because of this, his fellow greasers rarely divulge sensitive information to him. Ronnie is aware of how everyone perceives him, and tries his hardest to use this information to be pragmatic, but his ego and poor judgement can get in the way. He knows what to say in order to get what he wants, but he has trouble containing himself if he thinks he's being insulted. Some would say that he intentionally keeps people's expectations of him low so he can have more control over others, as he often brags about things that are completely improbable.
Biography
Ronnie lives in a tiny house with a father who is hardly ever there. Ronnie's father, Sid, is always jumping from one job to another, leaving him to fend for himself most of the time. Despite being a deadbeat, Ronnie doesn't tolerate any insults directed towards Sid. This reveals some underlying insecurity with Ronnie. His cousin, Eloise, is from Vonneville and recently came to stay with the Dulaneys, which is a constant source of conflict for Ronnie. To him, she shows no respect, and has more in common with the preps personality-wise than the scrappy underdogs he sees himself and his friends as.
Ronnie's biggest grudge with the upper-class stems from the buying up of pieces of his neighborhood, demolition of the old houses, and construction of newer, more lavish ones.
Appearance
Ronnie is 5'0" even, easily being mistaken for a child. He has black, curly hair drenched in grease, which comes to a cowlick hanging down in the middle of his forehead. He has white fur and red eyes. When in school, like most of the greasers, he wears his uniform with the tie loosened, the collar popped, shirt untucked, and sleeves rolled up. Coming from a poor family, Ronnie dresses very simply. His most common outfit outside of school is a black tee shirt, tight blue jeans, leather boots, and a dark brown leather jacket 3 sizes too big for him which he claims he took off one of the toughest guys from Rock City.
Friends
- Roger Lewis
- Chris Kranz
- Fanny Killen
- Nancy Peligni
Enemies
- Toby Scherzinger
- Gabe Greenwell
- Mike Dean
- Rob Vizecky
- John Whisenhunt
- Harold Walton
- Herbert Adkins
Skills and Abilities
Through weaselly words and verbal manipulation, Ronnie is always able to get what he wants. He is always the one The Royals send in to negotiate, get information, trick someone, or steal something.
Weaknesses
Ronnie's bad habit of lying at every turn leaves people putting zero trust in him and having little confidence in him to do anything but. He also has a bad temper, and is very lazy. The only thing that motivates him is some misplaced sense of revenge, which he takes out on the uninvolved and innocent. This is because, subconsciously, he is too afraid to actually confront the problems that bother him, and finds it easier to take it out on others instead.
Jobs
Though arguable whether it could be considered a profession, Ronnie's minor involvement in organized crime (mostly just stealing and vandalizing things) does net him pay.

Seems like a respectable young man definitely won’t get into criminal activities. No, sir.
