Minor inconsistencies aside, I’m quite pleased with how this one turned out, particularly the color palette. The way I make these, I have a color in mind for the building, and as I’m coloring the building and its surroundings first, I think of what would make a good contrast and use that for the sky. This one makes heavy use of browns and grays, which, along with the snow and bare trees makes for a cold-looking image. So I went with a warmer looking sky, which I think looks nice.
