Personality

Leslie is Delores' older brother. He is a bossy know-it-all, and works as a cashier at H.W. Grocer with Todd. In spite of being a dork, Leslie has a lot of bite. He'll bite back just as hard if he's being made fun of, and can be particularly combative when it comes to his work. He takes himself very seriously, and doesn't tolerate nonsense. Leslie doesn't really get along with anyone, nor does he have any friends, but that doesn't matter much to him. He is a straight-A student who studies hard, works hard, and plays little. Because of his lack of friends, he has no particular allegiance to anyone, and is neutral and outside of most conflicts. Because of his adherence to the rules, he has gained a reputation as a snitch, although he is smart enough to not report things that would get him in trouble with unsavory characters like the Royals. Leslie has a quick temper like his sister, and while he rarely starts quarrels, he is more than willing to get in an argument with strangers and peers alike. At work, he frequently clashes with Todd, ordering him around and losing his patience when Todd starts to fall asleep on the job.

Biography

Leslie was the first child of Jackie and June Dunn, and was never particularly pressured to excel. For one reason or another, he felt inferior to the other kids at school, and began pushing himself to be the best. He has a desperate need to be in control of his situation, and this is why he desires excellence. While he enjoys the praise he occasionally gets from his parents, his quest to achieve is purely personal. While he treats his younger sister fairly, his uncompromising and commanding nature can drive a wedge between the two, especially when Delores is feeling jealous of the recognition he gets for his achievements (even if Leslie is more or less indifferent to the attention).

Appearance

Leslie is tall, standing in at 6'4". He has white plumage, and brown hair in a bowl cut. He has an orange beak, and his eyes are gray. Outside of school he wears a rusty orange sweater-vest, a white button up, a black bowtie, gray slacks, and black shoes. While at work he wears a pale yellow apron.

Skills and Abilities

Leslie is self-assured and headstrong, having a firm idea of what he wants, and how to get it. He always plays by the rules, and is humble and earnest. He is also dedicated, and always sees things through. Leslie is of high intelligence, and is particularly strong in the areas of mathematics and language. He enjoys playing chess, and likes classical music. He truly does not care what others think of him, and has a strong desire to be the best he can be.

Weaknesses

Leslie is quick to anger, and sometimes overly-confrontational. He always seems like he has something to prove, and can be quite competitive. In spite of his willingness to argue, Leslie quickly shrinks back when he is faced with physical violence, something completely foreign to him. To that affect, he tries to stay out of trouble, as the last thing he wants is to stoop down to a thuggish level and get into a brawl. Leslie also lacks a sense of humor, with many jokes going over his head.
