Personality
Jackson is the owner of Moore’s Garage, and has a great fascination with all things mechanical. He's the type of person who enjoys taking objects apart, understanding their inner workings, and attempting to put them back together. He never lets anything go to waste, and his frugality and resourcefulness drive him to find creative solutions and repurpose broken items, as is his practical nature. Nearly everything he owns has been broken at least once. Even things that have no immediate purpose may come in handy later on, or so Jackson thinks. He has an inclination towards hoarding and accumulating various objects, which may be understandable to a degree when considering only the mechanical parts, but he also hangs on to things such as newspapers and old clothes. This creates tension with his family, especially given his daughter Margaret's feelings about her family's reputation. Jackson always has multiple projects ongoing, with many that have been left unfinished for years. This may be due to his demanding job as a mechanic, or out of simply losing interest.
Biography
Jackson came from a poor family, and was a teenager during the Great Depression. These early experiences have informed his outlook on life, and has resulted in him being very frugal and considerate of his resources. He never throws anything away, opting to keep it in case he could possibly use it in the future. Because he didn’t have many belongings in his youth, he never learned organization skills, and frequently leaves his office in the garage and his den at home in a state of disarray.
Despite the long hours Jackson works, the Moore family is not financially comfortable. They sit right on the brink of lower-middle class.
Jackson drives a yellow 1947 International Harvester 1.5 ton wrecker truck. It has a tow cable above the bed, and he uses it for his garage business. A phone number is painted on the driver and passenger sides, as well as the words "MOORE'S GARAGE" in red and white paint. For personal use, Jackson drives a dirty green 1929 GMC 1-ton truck, one of several vehicles that sits in the backyard of his home, albeit the only one that runs. It has been the subject of some of his tinkering.
Appearance
Jackson is 6'0" even. He has white hair and light beige fur, yellow eyes, and two beige horns. His work uniform consists of a light-blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and his name sewn on it, a brown pair of overalls, black rubber boots, and a blue International Harvester cap.

He is patient, and likes to take his time with things.
