In the Void Where He Belongs

Originally draw on 10/6/16. Man does time fly. This has aged more gracefully than some other things featuring this character. The background is nice and impressionistic, done with acrylic paint. Nice use of color theory for a 14 year old. I used a glue stick to paste a cutout of the character onto the painting (which was done on paper not meant for paint, hence the warping). I’d make fun of myself for feeling the need to sign the front of this, as if it was some masterpiece, but if I hadn’t I wouldn’t know the date I made it. You’d better believe I hung it up, too. That’s why there’re holes poked in the corners; I posted it up with thumbtacks on the cork board above the desk in my bedroom.

Also, this is my 900th deviation! Yippee.
