Hash Slinger

Here’s a character I’ve wanted to make for a while. You may be wondering why I wanted a second diner chef, considering that was already Lynn’s role, but I wanted to avoid making it seem like only four people worked at the diner. Like in real life, the crew should be a little larger. Lynn’s not always there; sometimes it’s Howard. He’s incidental.

I also wanted to have a male employee of the diner. I knew I wanted him to be a toad, and I wanted him to be a little chubby, but I couldn’t settle on a design. I realized I didn’t have any adult “nerd’ characters, so this design which I’m quite happy with, was inspired by Octus from Sym-Bionic Titan if anyone knows what that is.
