Fang is not Happy

Another doodle of Trip, this time with Fang. I’ll get to posting more serious art soon. In the meantime, I really like the dynamic between these two in Superstars. Especially the part where Trip falls through the floor in Lagoon City and Fang, fed up with her at this point and probably happy to be rid of her, just leaves her behind and doesn’t even try to help. Then later, in Golden Capital, Trip finally catches up with him and looks as if she’s ready to forgive him, but Fang is already so mad about crashing his hoverbike and dropping the Chaos Emeralds that he just storms up to her and kicks her in the face X,D
I appreciate that they didn’t pull any punches and forget that Fang is a *bad guy*. He does cruel things, and that fits his personality and role. And of course, he gets his comeuppance very shortly after that confrontation with Trip, as well as at the end of the game.
