Personality

Eddie is awkward, gangly, and insecure. He is never comfortable in his own skin, and always doubts himself. He cares immensely about what people think of him, and though he doesn't leave much of an impression on others, he is always worried that it was the wrong one. Having a tendency to overthink things, Eddie is kept grounded by his friend Nicholas. Eddie is Nicholas' closest friend, and the one he trusts the most. They share a lot of similar interests, and Eddie's unconfident nature is a perfect springboard for Nicholas' one-sided discussions. Eddie's wish for more friends or talents, combined with his fear of rejection, showcases his longing for acceptance and belonging. While his fear may cause him to underestimate how people would react to him, his cautious approach to life is influenced by a desire to avoid discomfort. In truth, most people would probably have no problem with him, but he isn't aware of that. That doesn't stop him from fantasizing about it though, playing out carefully constructed scenarios in his mind in the case that such occasions might arise. Despite this, he has made attempts to appear 'cooler' before, usually regrettable. The only one that's stuck so far was using his middle name instead of his first, illustrating his misguided quest for self-improvement. Overall, Eddie is characterized by a blend of insecurity, longing, and a hint of optimism for potential change.

Biography

Eddie was Archie's friend first, his house positioned directly behind Archie's. He was eventually introduced to Nicholas, who he related more to. His parents are the owners of Mayfield Clothing Co., the local boutique. His mother, Gale, showers him with affection, and still treats him like a child, much to his embarrassment. He tries to be seen with her as little as possible, and acts like he doesn't know her when he is.

Appearance

Eddie is 5’10", and very thin. His fur is white, as is his poofy and messy hair. He has brown eyes, and wears thick browline glasses. Eddie typically dresses conservatively, without any style or flair; outside of school he usually wears a white and blue striped short-sleeved button up shirt, brown corduroys, and leather shoes.
