Doctors

Clark Parish (the dove in the back), husband of Rosalie, has been a character for quite some time, and he’s long been characterized as the patient and empathetic physician that runs a practice in Povey. He hasn’t quite become a major character yet, but he will soon. For when the time comes, I decided to create a couple of characters to support him.

Doreen Gaffney (the bull terrier) is an affable nurse and receptionist at Clark’s practice. She is aware of Clark’s situation with the mob, and while she doesn’t want to interfere, she is stubborn about principles and will not partake in what Clark does. She often judges him directly.

Doc Vogel (the black bear) is a senior surgeon that Clark sometimes calls when things are serious. He was Clark’s mentor, but he lives in a different town and works at a hospital. He knows all about what Clark does for the mob, and is ashamed of him for it. He is a man of integrity, and would never be intimidated into complying with thugs.
