Personality

Chris was the previous leader of The Royals before Nancy came along. Prior to her, The Royals was simply a group of friends from similar backgrounds that would congregate to smoke cigarettes, play cards, and complain about their common frustrations. Now he is second in command, and despises it. Chris craves leadership, and desperately wants to feel in control. And if he couldn't have total control of his friends, then he would cast a fearful influence over the wimpy and overprivileged students of St. Thomas. He hates the preps, jocks, nerds and anyone in-between that make up the student body. Chris bullies them relentlessly, and is ruthless in doing so. It doesn't matter if his targets are wealthier than him like before; he hates that they get to live comfortably and seemingly stress-free when he does not. Chris comes from an impoverished family, and is the son of a single mother that was never there for him. He's been held back twice, and his mother threatens to kick him out of the house if he doesn't graduate. This added stress helps fuel the rage inside him, and makes the need for something to take it out on even greater. Chris is loud, angry, and far too willing to resort to violence. His friends often have to keep him from going too far when roughing someone up, or something as inconsequential as when he loses at a game of cards. Though he may be impulsive, Chris knows how to keep a cool head when it's worth it, and can appeal to authority figures surprisingly convincingly, feigning composure when necessary. The moment it's no longer needed however, he instantly drops the façade, flipping the switch and resuming his indiscriminate cruelty.

Biography

Chris never knew his father, and his mother was always coarse and unnurturing. It's likely that Chris was born out of wedlock, a prospect he is very sensitive about. As a child, Chris eventually made friends with Roger and Ronnie, who lived in the same neighborhood, and naturally became the leader of the group. He would always decide where they would go and what they would do when they got there. Even as a youth, he resented his mother, fostering his disrespect for authority, and his willingness to break rules and eventually commit crime. Chris' flippant attitude regarding simple things like stealing candy bars would go on to develop into a want to go further, testing the limits of what he could get away with, and making a statement while doing it. He discovered that not only was it not a big deal to break rules, not only was it fun, but most of all it was deserved.
Description

Appearance

Chris is 5'11". He has long sideburns and red hair greased into shiny waves. He has white plumage and brown eyes. When in school, like most of the greasers, he wears his uniform with the tie loosened, the collar popped, shirt untucked, and sleeves rolled up. Chris doesn't have many clothes, and anything he does have he bought himself (or stole). His most common outfit outside of school is a red and white-striped tee shirt under a dark leather jacket, jeans, and combat boots.

Vehicle

Chris drives a pale blue 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket which he allegedly stole by walking into the garage and claiming it was his. Its hood ornament is missing, and patches of rust and various dents mar the body.

Chris is charismatic, and is easy to rally behind. His friends find comfort in the fact that they know he will never relent, and is will always see things through to the end.

Weaknesses

On top of his terrible temper, propensity for violence, and lack of empathy for most people, Chris holds lifelong grudges. He already hates just about everyone, and if he hears that someone has said something negative about him, he will never forget it, even after he 'gets closure'.

Chris usually gets the biggest cut of pay for his contributions to the juvenile crimes he commits. This is for two reasons: he does the most important work, and he is also the one in charge of dividing the money amongst his friends.
