Personality

Billy is the brother of Toby and Alice Scherzinger, and is lazy, jaded, and melodramatic. Billy never quite measured up to the achievements of his siblings, leaving him feeling lost and searching for validation as he grew into adolescence. He found that validation in beat culture (as introduced to him by his friend, Cecil Fleming), where his mellow personality and preference to relax instead of work was not only understood, but appreciated. He has a pessimistic outlook on life, and isn’t afraid to make it known. He’ll do anything to get out of doing work and whines incessantly whenever he can’t. He works on class assignments at a snail’s pace (much to his brother’s chagrin, considering they are often paired together to work on collaborative projects) and is a solid D student. He is at odds with his brother, sister, and family often due to his lack of engagement and effort in anything he does. When in class, Billy’s mind is anywhere but on the lesson. His disinterest in class assignments, lack of motivation, and tendency to daydream further highlight his detachment from academic responsibilities, and reality at large. His fascination with surfing, television, and 'alternative music' reflects his desire to escape from reality. Billy's tendency to follow others and his impressionable nature play into his need for belonging and his willingness to conform to the group's behavior. However, his cowardice and reluctance to face adversity demonstrate a lack of confidence and a strong aversion to confrontational situations, the latter trait he shares with his brother.

Biography

Born on the same day as his brother in July of 1939, Billy Scherzinger and his family lived in a neighborhood of Povey until the summer of 1955 when his father moved the family to the nearby resort town of Cedarside. While the family was moving, the brothers were separated, with Billy going to summer camp and Toby going to work on their grandparent's farm. The choice was made by their father, who hoped it would teach Billy teamwork skills and finally get him out of the house and playing sports. This had no effect on Billy however, and upon returning from summer camp, he was much the same as he was when he left.

Appearance

Billy is 5'8", and has unkempt brown hair that covers his forehead and goes down to his shoulders. He has gray fur with infrequent beige patches, as well as spots that resemble freckles, and brown eyes. In school, he wears his uniform sloppily, often with tie knotted incorrectly or the shirt not tucked in completely. Billy has plenty of clothes, but will wear the same outfits (often mismatched) for days at a time out of laziness. Outside of school, he wears a yellow Hawaiian shirt with pink flowers, green slacks, and brown shoes.

Skills and Abilities

Billy isn't really good at anything. He likes music and surfing, but he has no musical talent nor has he ever surfed in his life. He is also basically inert, and it takes a lot to make him angry. He is almost completely unreceptive even when directly insulted. Billy does have a sense of what’s right and what’s wrong though, and isn’t a bad person; merely unmotivated and uncertain. He doesn’t have any grievances with most anyone, aside from his sister. He does have a good sense of humor though, loves to laugh, and has a reputation as a goofball.

Weaknesses

Billy is lazy, cowardly, and never makes decisions for himself. Despite being a hopeless follower, he believes himself to be more independent than he really is, a reflection of his shallow contrarian nature. Billy also never puts in more effort than he needs to on anything he works on, and is content to scrape by with the bare minimum.
