Assorted Undead

Originally drawn March 3, 2021. I don’t know why I never uploaded this! I still think these designs look really cool. There’s a lot of freedom you can have with variations between different undead; unique skull shapes, tattered and decomposed clothes, etc. Just exploring the manner of how they died or the considering where their corpses laid can open a lot of potential for interesting and fun designs. Ones with big chunks missing, ones missing jaws, ones stuck full of arrows, etc. Were they laying in a mass grave in some dungeon sewer water? Make them goopy and waterlogged! It makes me wonder why more properties don’t put that level of effort into their undead designs. Perhaps just because they’re supposed to be unremarkable and you aren’t supposed to look so deeply into them?
