Animated Aspersions

I’ve been meaning to do one of these again for a long time. This was spurred on by me remembering a group of three or four cels that I made back in 2018 that I searched up and down for, but couldn’t find. I suppose it’s likely that I probably threw them away, since the supplies I used at the time were subpar. While this new one is a little messy, I’m very pleased with the result. It did take me about 16 hours to paint the whole thing. Acrylic was never my favorite. Toby’s jacket and Alice’s sweater come off more as brown than maroon here, but I don’t think it’s a big deal. Don’t get me started on trying to photograph something with a reflective surface though. After I finished the cel, I didn’t want to do anymore painting, so I just printed out some random backgrounds instead of making my own.
