The Lagoon Nebula (catalogued as Messier 8 or M8, and as NGC 6523) is a giant interstellar cloud in the constellation Sagittarius.
This is my second time imaging this nebula. The first time

was the very first image I tried doing once I got all my astrophotography equipment together. I wanted to do it again as I had the camera turned 90 degrees the wrong way on the first image so I cut some of the nebula off the frame.
