"I am deeply sorry my love. It was wrong of me and I behaved irresponsibly. I found the love of another and now I am torn. I hope we can find a happy resolution. I have neglected you for too long. I promise that I will take you out and turn you on once again soon. Please forgive me."

Tonight is the first time I have had my astrophotography telescope out and imaging properly for nearly two and a half months. Pretty much ever since I got my Canon 5D Mk II, I have just been grabbing it every clear night and doing landscape astrophotography.

Behind the scenes look at my 10" F/4 Newtonian Telescope running on a NEQ6 Pro Goto Mount. The bright glow on top is a Synguider Autoguider looking through a 80mm ShortTube Guidescope. The autoguider is able to look onto a star and control the mount to keep it precisely in it's field of view. This enables very long exposures (hopefully- if it's all working right) of deep sky objects without the stars trailing due to the rotation of the earth.
