So, my last journal was about my art show...and I never followed up with the fact that it got rained out and my only sale was to my aunt. *shrug* Oh well. Since then, I finished up school, vacationed in Mexico and California. I haven't been able to get a job, and my summer classes got canceled due to low enrollment. That's the thing about living in Arizona...everyone leaves during the summer, so there's no point in hiring more people or keeping classes open. Meh.

I just wanted to say that if you're in the Phoenix area this weekend, please stop by the Sunnyslope Art Walk on Saturday, April 9 from 5-9pm. I don't have any major fiber art in the art walk, but I will have a few little things that I have made myself. Hopefully this will kick of my Etsy shop!
In other news, I'm enjoying this semester (mostly just the art classes). Currently, in Fibers, I am making a felt Jackalope. My classmates have named him Merlin. I hope to post pictures soon.

It's interesting skimming journals and noticing so many people leaving dA or changing their accounts. I've always been Captn-Shamrock here, and it's become my name all over the internet....but it was born here. The whole thing makes me curious if one day I'll stop coming here.
