It had been a minute since Matthew had actually ridden in an event. He had been so busy running the stud that he forgot how much he actually enjoyed both the thrill and the stress of competition. Matthew had made an off-hand comment one day over coffee that he wanted to get back in the saddle once more and that the stud needed some more mares in competitions. Luckily, Alexander had been keeping an eye out on horses up for sale when this little blue mare had appeared. She had all the makings of an excellent dressage horse and had enough flash on her that she instantly caught Matthew's attention when Alex and he went to take a look at her. It had also been a breed that Matthew had a love for, the Yasaeng Warmbloods were known to be versatile and the stud already had a few of them. And with the summer academy show being hosted by the breed, Matthew figured why not take this little mare out on her first outing? Turns out he couldn't have been any more proud of his new girl.
