Delta and I are taking a moment to honor the men and women of the various armed forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice. 

For those of you who may not know me personally, I am surrounded by military personnel, in all of the branches. My grandfather was in the navy. Two cousins serve in the Marines. Another in the Air Force. My step-dad is a Marine. And if I couldn't be surrounded more, my boyfriend is in the Army and currently is deployed (November can not come soon enough). So this holiday hits home with me a little more than it probably does with other people. By no means do you have to actively support the military or what it does, that is completely your right. But it is important to support the troops, even if you don't support the military. There is a difference.
