See,I'm a very classic maze artist. I draw a start. I draw an end. Then I make a bunch of 2 dimensional pathways to get from one to another. I don't have pathways criss-crossing over eachother, and I rarely plan anything in advance. When I get close to connecting the finish and the start, I choose a path that connects them and I move it around. I weave it between the other ones, walling off sections to make it harder to get to an area where the real path is found, trying to balance the maze so it's hard for people to merely start from the end (my pet peeve).
