I thought the song was going to be about Sherlock, because, you know, he lived on Baker Street. 

The song is actually about that moment in a mid-life crisis when you realize you hate your life and everything you've worked for was a waste of time, then you try to find help and the people you talk to are in the exact same boat but don't realize it yet, then you wake up the next morning in a pool of depression and keep going because it's only slightly better than death. 

But that sax riff, man. Dat sax riff.

I recently went through a similar situation; a while back, I saw that Rick and Morty Exquisite Corpse short where Morty literally drops acid and he and Rick go on an acid trip with different animation styles. I was enamored by the animation, but also the instrumental of the song "Thursday in the Danger Room" by Run the Jewels, it's pretty catchy and has an awesome beat.

So imagine my surprise when I look up the full song and realize it's pretty sad, they're singing about the passing of a friend and how that has affected their lives and the friend's family, and how much he meant to them :( .

But that beat tho...
