Sonic the Hedgehog - Thunder

I'm aware of two media where Sonic canonically used lightning or electricity:

1. Sonic Adventure's final battle, where Tikal may describe Super Sonic as becoming a "bolt of lightning" should he pick up enough speed to damage Perfect Chaos. When he does, some blue sparks do fly out.

2. The movies where Sonic (as well as Knuckles and Shadow) generates electricity from his quills.

Either way, for this project I'm implementing that element for our symbol of speed. Since my main color choice for the electric type is yellow, I'm drawing Sonic in his golden Super form. The label says "Thunder" because it fits the name "Sonic" more directly, but in this vision, he controls both that and lightning.

Imaginably, I picture Super Sonic supercharging himself to move as a literal lightning bolt, but he can also cast lightning from the skies like magic. While Super Sonic does typically consume rings, here I have him weaponizing his rings into electrical conduits for greater AOE techniques.
