Personality

General Personality - Striker is a total ham, he loves attention and will pose for photographs. Truthfully, his favorite thing about going to the track is the people. Any one he can show off for is his best friend, and he hasn't met an enemy yet. While it's nice to have a horse like this, it can also be difficult because when he is away from people he shuts down completely and won't perform as well.

Fears - Striker HATES the starting gate, even though he's been schooled in it to the max, he will not load easy and in fact is usually the last to load. It's a known issue and most people just accept it as part of Striker's quirks.

Unique Characteristics - Striker can't stand to be away from Roller, they grew up together, were auctioned and bought together, and have to be taken everywhere together. Which makes it a challenge for Waylon.

History

Striker and Roller (filly) both came through an auction together, they were stunning and conformation wise very lovely both things that appealed to Waylon. When he was buying these young horses he had two things on his mind, first that he wanted something that was built and bred to race and second that he wanted horses that he could see a future in. In both Striker and Roller he saw those things, and he saw that the two were bonded something he enjoyed seeing especially with his more difficult charges at the stables. It was a no brainer to bring them in and they fit nicely into the racing and training string.
