The Look of Eagles

Waylon watched as the newest addition to Fox Harbor surveyed his paddock, the black stallion glimmered in the sun and when he stood there he just made Waylon's heart sing. Tossing his head Sunday snorted and paused, eyeing Brogues one of the young colts heading towards the training track, it caused the large stallion to square up and the look of it was just amazing.

This boy was older than the young trainees that Waylon had brought into the barn, and he'd been around a bit but not here, and definitely not for Fox Harbor. Sunday would go on to investigate his space before kicking off and racing along the fenceline as he watched Brogues run. In a few more days Waylon would have to get him out on the track and let him stretch, then ease him into training. But for right now he'd just let the old boy enjoy being a horse for a few minutes.
