Description

Waylon wanted to see how the newest filly on their string would run against a more experienced horse, so he sent his newest jockey Cecily (Colton's sister) up on Leche and let Colton take Nishi out for a warm up before his next big race on the wood chip course at the farm. Nichi immediately took off, his competitive spirit driving him to press on early but Leche surprised Waylon as she flipped her ears back and dug hard into the ground.

Sure it was a simple workout, but she ended up matching pace with Nishi for a few paces before he'd eventually pull away from her. She had spirit, and the look in her eye when she found his side was one that Waylon was excited to see on the track. For now she would stay at home and train, eventually she'd load up and travel with Nichi off to the Arlington Million at Arlington International to do some schooling there before he would have to decide where to aim her.
