Since I didn't get this done in time, and I realized far too late that I had Snapdragon's tack but it should have been Goldrush I just wanted to upload it because I loved how it turned out. This piece wasn't judged, and won't count for competition but I am happy with it over all! Maybe next time lol. But hopefully you'll like how Snapdragon turned out, lovely horse there!

It was not the prettiest afternoon the day of the Beech Wood Stakes and Colton and Cecily were planning on riding some of the greener three year olds. The two WBS bred horses were antsy, they'd been kept apart in their preps for this race and now that they were seeing each other they wanted to run. Something Waylon thought would serve them well on the track, though he knew there was a risk it wouldn't at all.
They loaded into the gate as a heavy downpour started, and as soon as it was open both Striker and Roller were off, running as hard as they could. Roller pulled in front of Striker, just like Waylon thought she would and Striker was hard in pursuit. Their frustration from being separated from one another was making them run hard a fast, much faster than Waylon had clocked them before. Which excited him completely! This was a great sign and even if they didn't do anything at all in the race he was already proud of these two!
