At least it wasn't live cargo but it was still a far cry from her precious tea. Thermopylae nudged her. "Hey, the pelts lose their scent after a day." She assured her. Cutty Sark sighed. She didn't want to appear ungrateful. Thermopylae had thrown her a lifeline with the wool trade. She herself had done it for several years and was in search of a partner to work with. She was also the one who looked after Cutty Sark for months, helping her get a handle on her opium addiction. It was always her. The tracks lead to many beautiful parts of the country from the Grand Canyon in the west, Mount Rushmore in the north and Texas cattle fields in the south! Some have railway tracks for us to run through, but there was one city where steam engines weren’t allowed to visit due to fire hazard reasons until one day, I saw my chance! All aboard for a big adventure! The United States has the largest rail network in the world. Although diesels normally run the line, there are steam engines pulling excursion trains. The tracks lead to many beautiful parts of the country from the Grand Canyon in the west, Mount Rushmore in the north and Texas cattle fields in the south! But there is so much to see in the east because it has many big cities there including…… “New York City?!” Lionel gave me a hearty chuckle. “That’s right, Thomas. New York is the biggest city in the States. Everybody likes to ride the Amtrak trains! They take them all of the busiest cities and back, but no train is more popular than the train to New York.
