Story:

It was time for Jagger to debut this season, once again for Fox Harbor Farms, he'd gone up for part of the winter with the rest of the horses, allowing a bit of a break after a hard run in the Breeder's Cup Mile. And though he didn't win he didn't disappoint either, his first season running for FHF had been phenomenal, and they only hoped to keep it up. As always he was bright and eager to run the day of the race, seemingly more excited to be back to his real home on Winter Blood Stable's property and seeing the horses he'd known most of his life. But Colton was also excited to show off how well Jagger had come along, and even as he sat on his back waiting for his chance to go into the gate he couldn't help but smile and rub the stallion's neck.

"You're a good boy, Jags. Such a good boy, and you know what good boy's get to do?"

There was a snort from the horse below him as he danced a little before being loaded in.

"Good boy's get to run, they get to run and race and dash between horses, they get to wear blankets of flowers and hear crowds cheer their name. That's what good boys like you get to do, how's that sound."

Jagger flicked his ears back and leaned back in the gate, showing Colton exactly how that sounded as he readied himself to launch forward. Running against Ghost and Triton was no easy feat! And if the crowd was going to chant his name against them he was going to have to run his heart out.
